Bill Ullmann

Graduated from CSU with a degree in Agriculture and went to work for Great Western Sugar Co. in Goodland, Ks. Transferred to Brighton, Co. and resigned to farm in Holyoke, Co. for a brief time. Went back to work with Great Western in Brighton and was transferred back to Goodland for 10 years. Great Western Sugar went bankrupt and was purchased by an English Co, and renamed Western Sugar Company who transferred me to Fort Morgan, Co. I was then transferred to Scottsbluff, Ne. for 5 years and came back to Fort Morgan where we currently reside.

I retired in 2006 from Western Sugar Coop after 39 years in the Sugar industry. I have been working in the summer months for the Fort Morgan School District mowing lawns with an air conditioned mower. However, I did not return to that job this year and am completely retired.

Sherry and I have been married for 47 years. We have 3 children- Renae who lives in Monte Vista, Co., Joni who lives in Wiggins, Co. and Craig who lives in Pierre, SD. We have 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

We enjoy traveling and attending our grandchildren and great grandchildren’s events. We have two granddaughters in Pierre, SD who are athletic so we attend to their events. Our youngest grandson plays Football at Black Hills State Univ. in South Dakota so we eagerly await attending his games this fall which are in Texas, Colorado, New Mexico and South Dakota. We also enjoy attending concerts, playing disc golf and walking.
